IDTs' drill rods are manufactured using special high-resistant steel that meet the most stringent requirements imposed by law of the American Petroleum Institute ( API standard 5D).
The joints, obtained for the mechanical working from solid bars and tubes undergo initial treatment of draining to increase the mechanical strength, after they undergo thermal treatment anti-seize, and therefore connected to the pipes by friction welding, the most advanced and reliable process in such applications.
The complementary treatments and careful controls on the materials and process, ensure a high level of quality and reliability, making IDT rods within the high-end equipment for drilling.
To all this must be added the high flexibility of the production process that permits to respond to the requests, even the most specific and particular, with products that keep and maintin high-quality.
